Employment Law Solicitor

We’re looking for an Employment Law Solicitor to support and grow our Employment offering, advising both employers and employees across a varied caseload.
The Role
You will handle a broad range of employment matters, providing clear, practical advice and delivering excellent client care throughout. This is a great opportunity for a motivated solicitor to take ownership of files, build relationships, and contribute to the continued development of the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Advising employers and employees on contentious and non-contentious employment matters
- Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies, and workplace documentation
- Supporting clients on disciplinary, grievance, redundancy, and performance processes
- Providing advice on discrimination, harassment, whistleblowing, and dismissal issues
- Managing settlement agreements from instruction through to completion
- Preparing matters for Employment Tribunal where required and supporting representation
- Maintaining high standards of compliance, file management, and client communication
About You
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (or Chartered Legal Executive with relevant experience)
- Experience in employment law (contentious and/or non-contentious)
- Confident communicator with strong client care and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage a caseload independently with good organisational skills
- A practical, solutions-focused approach with attention to detail
- Employment Tribunal experience is desirable, but not essential
